Stay out of the heat this summer and come down to 600 E. Grace Street to enjoy a tour of the new and old as we take you through the region’s premiere performing arts complex, Richmond CenterStage! Your tour will include the historic Carpenter Theatre, recently renovated to its 1928 grandeur, as well as the brand new performance venues located in Dorothy Pauley Square (the former Thalhimers Department Store building).
During the tour, we will take you through the improved Carpenter Theatre–backstage and behind the scenes–as well as our new venues which include the Gottwald Playhouse, Rhythm Hall, Genworth BrightLights Education Center, and Showcase Gallery. Your group will also learn about the innovative ways CenterStage is working with area schools and local art groups through regional partnerships that integrate the arts into core subject areas like math, language arts, and social studies. Looking for an original and exciting place to hold your next meeting or social gathering? All of these dynamic venues provide in-house catering and bar service.
A tour of CenterStage is a great way to get out of the house and stay cool this summer. We welcome all groups, ranging from 2 to 200 people, and best of all—IT’S FREE! For more information on tours or CenterStage Foundation, contact Sarah Abubaker at (804)565-9672 or email at sabubaker@richmondcenterstage.com.
Looking forward to seeing you at CenterStage!
