RTP’s Holiday Smash Hit Returns — This Time With Two New Tales to Tell!
Christmas on the Rocks takes place on Christmas Eve in a rundown local bar. Expecting a silent night, the bartender instead finds himself mixing drinks for a parade of surprising guests – your favorite kids from your favorite Christmas specials and movies – all grown up, shaken, stirred, and served with a twist. Join them as they pour out their Christmas woes in this delightful parody — this time with two new tales to delight you.
Each playlet features a treasured holiday icon – Zuzu (and her petals) from It’s a Wonderful Life, Karen from Frosty the Snowman and Clara from The Nutcracker are all played by Theresa Mantiply, while Ralphie from A Christmas Story, Hermey the Elf from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Tiny Tim and Charlie Brown are played by Eddie Webster. The understanding bartender is played throughout by Joe Pabst.

Conceived by Rob Ruggiero, Christmas on the Rocks is an offbeat collection of seven twisted holiday tales by John Cariani, Jenn Harris & Matthew Wilkas, Jeffrey Hatcher, Jacques Lamarre, Theresa Rebeck and Edwin Sanchez. RTP’s production is sponsored by David Peake.

Current Covid Safety Requirements at RTPFor the safety of the performers, your fellow patrons, and the staff, masks are required to be worn inside the venue – completely covering the nose and mouth — anytime you are not actively eating and drinking.
