Minds Wide Open: Virginia Celebrates Children and the Arts – Chamberlayne Actors Theatre

Chamberlayne Actors Theatre is proud to bring you this classic play by Lillian Hellman as a part of Minds Wide Open: Virginia Celebrates Children and the Arts.

A serious adult play about two women who run a school for girls. A malicious youngster, trying to protect herself, starts an entirely unfounded rumor about the two women. When the young girl sees the rumor turn to scandal, she understands the power she wields and sticks by her story, which eventually precipitates tragedy.

 

Directed by Billy-Christopher Maupin the cast features Donna Marie Miller & Alina Collins-Maldonado with Izabela Clarke, Allison Gilman, Lily Hargis, Odessa Hott, Becki Jones, Natasha Liu, Seth Lyons, Aaron Orensky, Hannah Polaski, Marcia Quick, Sara Roderer, & Sophie Shannon.   

Show opens March 23 at Chamberlayne Actors Theatre, 319 N.
