The toast of Capital Fringe is coming to Richmond, and we don’t call anything the toast of anything else unless it really is the toast of that second thing! Firehouse Theatre is proud to present One in Four, a Nu Puppis production of Levi Meerovich’s acclaimed extraterrestrial comedy.
Sid, a nebbish alien sweatily disguised as a human male, is excited to meet his three new roommates, all of whom he assumes to be human. Each one, however, is in the exact same boat as Sid— discrete otherworldy emmissaries convinced of their housemates’ humanity. Hijinks abound! Hijinks ensue! By the last ten minutes of One in Four’s eminently reasonable hourlong runtime, we can guarantee you will have lost accurate count of the hijinks.
One in Four is produced by Nu Puppis, an experimental performing arts collective that seeks to create the culture necessary for life in space through earth-bound performances. Connor Scully and RTCC award nominee Mahlon Raoufi co-direct, while Dixon Cashwell, Rachel Hindman, Jess Rawls, and Matt Riley star— Connor, Mahlon, Dixon, Jess, and Rachel were all part of One in Four’s Capital Fringe premiere, a lauded run that was rated as one of the “BEST OF THE FRINGE 2017,” so if this one’s bad it’s pretty clearly Matt’s fault!
We open on 4/20 (of course we do), 7:30 PM and tickets are only $15 for general admission and $7 for students! Head on over to our event page and get those tix now!
