A poignant and thought provoking program of short plays woven with contemporary dance in K Dance’s unique and unconventional style of storytelling.

Directed by Richmond favorites Jacqueline Jones, Maggie Roop, Andrew Etheredge, and Axle Burtness. Choreographer and Artistic Director – Kaye Weinstein Gary, Lighting Designer/Production Supervisor – Matthew Landwehr, Production Manager – Todd LaBelle.

Chicks, by Grace McKeaney, features Dean Knight as a kindergarten teacher with a wild appetite for life and a healthy analysis bill. Directed by Jacqueline Jones.

Just Before the Drop, by David-Matthew Barnes, features Kaye Weinstein Gary and Andrew Etheredge as two strangers who meet after a very unsettling discovery, directed by Jacqueline Jones.

The Closet, by Aoise Stratford, features Andrew Etheredge and Dean Knight as Bernard (a toy dinosaur), Bart Sponge (a toy sponge), and Twinkles, directed by Maggie Roop.

Joe and Stew’s Theatre of Brotherly Love and Financial Success, by Jacquelyn Reingold, features Luke Schares and John Mincks as two cockroaches in an off-off Broadway theatre, directed by Axel Burtness.

In Transit, by Steve McMahon, features Mara Elizabeth Barrett and Tim Herrman as two people in love who meet again, directed by Andrew Etheredge.
