The Appomattox Regional Governor’s School presents Fiddler on the Roof

The Appomattox Regional Governor’s School presents Fiddler on the Roof, a musical play about a father’s attempts to preserve his family’s traditions in a changing world. Based on characters created by Sholem Aleichem, Fiddler on the Roof first appeared on Broadway in 1964, winning nine Tony awards including “Best Musical” for a score that features “If I were a Rich Man,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” and “Sunrise, Sunset.”

Performances of Fiddler on the Roof are on November 9, 10, 16, & 17 at 7pm and November 11 and 18 at 2pm. Tickets are $10 adults – $5 students/seniors (60+) at the door.
