Swift Creek Mill Theatre welcomes Richmond native Jason Marks to the Mill Room stage Nov. 1 and 2 at 8 PM as part of its Cabaret performance series. “Broadway at the Mill: An Evening with Jason Marks” is a limited, two-night engagement featuring the award-winning singer and actor performing music from the Broadway stage.
The Mill cabarets showcase talented performers in an intimate setting designed to foster a unique connection with audiences through personal stories and song.
Jason Marks last appeared on the Mill stage in 2015 as Uncle Grover in “Two Bits: The Barbershop Musical.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Jason back to the Mill,” said Swift Creek Mill Theatre Managing Director Steve Koehler. “Our Cabaret performances are an ideal venue to showcase Jason’s broad talent.”
Marks, with accompaniment by pianist JS Fauquet, will perform classic Broadway favorites mixed in with few surprises. Tickets are $40 and include hors d’oeuvres. Spirits are available for purchase at the bar. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Marks has also appeared in “Broadway Gypsy of the Year” (with Carol Channing); “Young Edgar,” and “Bound for Broadway” (NYC).
