What’s Happening at CAT – Cancellations

By | April 4, 2020

To the Chamberlayne Actors Theatre community:

Like the rest of you, we are watching the news regarding COVID-19 change daily. The most recent news is, of course, Governor Northam’s Executive Order to “stay at home.” This order extends through June 10, 2020.

While most of us are already practicing social distancing, this new order means that we cannot continue with the rehearsal process for The Unexpected Guest which we had moved to the June time frame. We have no choice but to cancel the rest of our 56th Season.

Ticket holders for both The Unexpected Guest and Fireflies will be contacted in a separate communication.

Even in times of uncertainty and difficulty, we are working toward the future. While this season may be ending, we are continuing to work to bring you thoughtful, entertaining theatre. We are developing our 57th Season and we are planning to announce some very exciting projects in the near future.

Until we can see you again in person, or online, thank you for your continued patronage and support. As has been said previously, we are still here!

On behalf of the Chamberlayne Actors Theatre Board of Directors,

Charles A. Wax, President
