THE ZOMBIE LIFE is a new play that is made up of a series of monologues from constantly shifting characters that are sometimes performed as solos and sometimes in various dialogue-like fugues.
Firehouse is seeking a diversity of physical types of all ages who are eager to experiment, do physical work, and develop this new script. All roles are paid.
Actor 1 – Therapist leading a seminar titled “Humans Preparing to Transition: When you are ready to leave the pain behind, we are ready to help.” Therapist is confident and manipulative.
Five other actors play zombies who transform through a range of characters when they touch different objects:
Actor 2 – Woman, Activist, Philanthropist, Mortician’s Mother
Actor 3 – Prostitute, Mother, Chef, Professional
Actor 4 – Nun, Doctor, Soldier, Professional, Philanthropist
Actor 5 – Father, Doctor, Activist, Professional, Philanthropist
Actor 6 – Mortician, Klansman, Soldier, Chef
