“Please help spread the word. We’re looking for actors to workshop a new verbatim play based on testimonies collected in the Gay Rodeo Oral History Project. Queer histories in the American West are currently severely underrepresented. This play has the potential to introduce queer western identities to public audiences and contribute to our community’s understanding of our own history, restoring the rightful place of individuals silenced or altogether absent from the traditional narrative of the American West.”
