With Theatre stuck online, what is a playwright to do? Meet with VCCAPA teacher Andrew Bryce to read, discuss, and write plays for virtual platforms!  This expanding field of Theatre due to COVID-19 is only growing.  Want to learn how to best use Zoom, YouTube, and TikTok to create Theatrical experiences?  Want to know WHERE to submit your virtual plays?  

Join us on Saturdays 3:30 -5:00 pm. Each participating playwright will finish the class with two complete short plays to submit to virtual contests in the future, which will be presented and recorded on the last day of class!


Week 1: Framing a Virtual Story

Week 2: Live Streaming your Story (Instagram, Facebook Live)

Week 3: Text in the Virtual World

– 10 min play #1 finished 

Week 4: “Found Footage” and where to submit your Play

Week 5: Recorded Plays!

– 10 min play #2 finished

Week 6: Presentation/Recording of Virtual Plays
