At the Modlin Center, the safety of our patrons, students, faculty, staff, and visiting artists is our top priority. Given the ever-evolving challenges we face with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are transforming our presenting model and suspending all in-person, public performances through fall 2020.
The Modlin Center faculty and staff are enthusiastically exploring ways to use the arts as a medium for investigation, expression, and community building during these times. We remain dedicated to integrating the arts in support of the University of Richmond’s mission to educate students in an academically challenging, intellectually vibrant, and collaborative community.
While we will not host traditional in-person performances, we are exploring ways to produce and present high-quality, virtual programming opportunities for the fall and we hope that conditions will be favorable to resume a limited number of live performances in the spring. The Modlin Center will provide updates as more information becomes available. In the meantime, please enjoy our comprehensive and ever-growing list of organizations offering free performing and visual arts on our website. Stay up to date with your favorite Modlin Center artists and local arts opportunities by signing up for our e-newsletter and connecting with us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
We appreciate your continued support of the Modlin Center for the Arts and we look forward to connecting with you in new and exciting ways during our time apart.
