Firehouse Theatre produces Season 1 of Chandler Hubbard’s serialized MAN

Firehouse Theatre and Jackleg Media have partnered to produce Season 1 of MAN, Chandler Hubbard’s world premiere ​serialized episodic live performance and podcast. Season 1 includes 12 half-hour episodes that will be performed live in sets of three episodes at Firehouse on Wednesdays June 29, July 6, July 13, and July 20 at 7:30pm. Tickets for the live performances are $15 and an all episode pass for Season 1 is $40. Tickets are available at https://man-season-1.eventbrite.com

Season 1 begins with the end of the world as we know it… sort of. Over the course of the next 11 episodes you’ll learn about the global catastrophe that stripped all Superheroes and Supervillains of their powers, and how former enemies Dom “Marvelous Man” Taylor and Patrick “Professor Peril” Pritchard team up to survive this brave new world. You’ll meet intrepid reporter April Anderson and elusive vigilante Iron Maiden, who together with Dom and Patrick must save River City from itself.

There will be audio recordings of each live performance of MAN available to ticket holders of the Firehouse shows. Season 1 episodes of MAN will also be available as a podcast thru Jackleg Media.

The MAN ensemble is Bianca Bryan, Anne Michelle Forbes, Erica Hughes, Paul Major, Amber Marie Martinez, Nora Ogunleye, Paige Reisenfeld, Luke Schares, and Adam Turck. MAN is directed by PJ Freebourn, with original music composed by Kate Statlelman, and stage managed by Donna Warfield. Thomas Bowman is the podcast producer for Jackleg Media.
