Hi Friends! I’m beyond excited to announce that for my next project (and return to the stage postpartum) I’ll be sharing said stage with my favorite co-star: my husband, Jeff.
Our daughter Izzy’s first birthday is right around the corner, and we (read: I) thought, what better way to celebrate surviving our first year as parents than through song! And dance! And maybe even a slide show!
We already know our child is the greatest thing we’ll ever create together, but we’re hoping this show will be a close second. It’ll feel like an intimate evening in our living room, except with a much lower chance of you tripping over some baby toys, and a higher chance that we’ll forget what we’re talking about halfway through and call for line.
Featuring songs we want to sing before the stress of parenthood causes us to age out, as well as the incomparable accompaniment of Elle Meerovich, it’s a cabaret that blurs the line between catharsis and narcissism (#catharcissism?), but in a way that’ll be endearing (we promise!).
Join Jeff and I for one weekend in September as we take over the stage at The Basement to talk/sing about our lives before and after baby. You’ll laugh. We’ll cry. It’ll be fun!
