Workshop will take place at the Virginia Rep Center for Arts and Education on Hermitage Avenue in Richmond. If you are free and interested in being part of this, please email a headshot and resume along with a 30 second – 1 minute video of yourself singing to queenbeamusical@gmail.com. (Previous videos you’ve already filmed/vocal or demo reels are welcome!)

Submissions are open through July 1st.

About Queen Bea: It’s almost coronation day in the hive for soon to be Queen Beatrice. But this reluctant honeybee has no desire for royal duties and a spirit for adventure beyond the honeycomb walls. She makes the decision not to come back during her maiden flight, and encounters an unfriendly world with aggressive drones and hungry praying mantises! But when she meets a wise firefly named Franklin, he convinces Bea that she has her own inner light and to follow her destiny.
