Actors in the cast of the 2nd Virginia Convention support programs at Historic St. John’s Church, a National Historic Landmark, in Richmond, Virginia. Position job duty is to participate in “Liberty or Death” reenactments for the general public, and for paying school and tour groups during the week.
Join us at St. John’s Church Foundation in Richmond, VA where we serve 40,000 visitors each year from around the world. Qualified candidates for this part-time position should have acting experience. Knowledge of history is a plus, but not required. Candidates must be punctual and flexible schedules are helpful.

St. John’s Church Foundation requires a criminal background check. Must be 18 years old and older. Position reports to the Executive Director. Works closely with the cast, and with the Casting Director.
Work Environment:
Principal Function: To be a part of the Cast of the 2nd VA Convention Reenactment. Shows take place 7 days a week, mornings, mid day and evenings. Schedules and roles are flexible – actors do not need to be available for every show. Week day – mid day availability a plus. NOR REHEARSALS.
The actor is responsible for delivering lines in the production of the ‘Liberty or Death’ Reenactments in order to provide engaging experiences to visitors.
Qualifications: Acting experience, acting training a plus.
