Blood from a Turnip: A Puppet Salon for Grown-Ups
Richmond, VA
Looking for short pieces, in process or fully developed, for our winter/Spring 2025 Salons (Yes, basically a Slam).
Performance dates: Sunday February 23 and Sunday APril 27, 7:30pm at Firehouse Theatre in Richmond VA.
We are curating for a wide variety of puppet and object manipulation styles and open to puppeteers at different stages of their puppet journey!
Prefer works in the 5-8min range. Participants will need to be available that day for an afternoon of tech sessions to be scheduled in 30-45minute increments between 2-6:30pm.
We do a box office share with the venue hosting us, Firehouse Theatre, and then share the balance (including any grant monies we may receive) evenly with every act.
