| Mr. Showtime: GAMBLIN’ MAN It’s Showtime! The Mill’s next chapter begins with a Big Band BANG – and a masterclass in swingin’ showmanship injecting the Great American Songbook with pure adrenaline. Backed by a bada$$ big band, crooner Scott Wichmann and composer/arranger Ryan Corbitt blend comedy with original songs, classic standards and reimagined Gen-X pop tunes arranged with a jazzy jolt. The result? A cross-generational slam dunk—and an unforgettably ‘Old School’ night on the town. “He’s got a voice like a million bucks and, more importantly, a sharp and sassy stage presence.” ~STYLE Weekly“ Scott Wichmann is a Force of Nature.” ~The Richmond Times-Dispatch“…. For his Rat Pack-infused cabaret act, “Mr. Showtime,” somehow all of the parts come together. The role fits him like a black tuxedo. He appears with a full band, a classic songbook, venerable jokes, a twinkle in his eye, and a promise to take audiences back to when their parents were young.” ~Peter McElhenney, Jazz Critic |
