Scriptwriting Contest
The On-the-Air Radio Players group is seeking original scripts for live performance in one of their upcoming 2012 shows. Scripts should be from 15 to 25 minutes and suitable for a family audience. Choose from one of these categories: Mystery, Suspense, Comedy, Science Fiction, Melodrama, Detective. Scripts can be in the style of old radio shows, or something more modern. We want to bring the excitement of audio drama to a new generation of listeners! Hi. My name is Alex Grant and I live in Chesapeake, Virginia. I’ve written a musical play called The Pork Rind Serial Killer. It’s about a Reese Witherspoon-type girl singer from North Carolina named Mary Anna who just can’t seem to be able to stay with her boyfriends once they fall head-over-heels in love with her.
