| READY, PLAYER? LIGHTS UP! IS BACK. The Genworth Lights Up! Youth Series is back, and this year, it’s a full playthrough. From September through May, young creatives ages 3–18 can level up with free visual and performing arts workshops and live performances at community centers and schools across the region. At every stop, kids can try something new, build their skills, and learn directly from local artists and arts organizations. Five levels. Five communities. One epic season. LEVEL 1 September 26 | Henrico Center for the Arts LEVEL 2 November 7 | Pine Camp Arts & Community Center LEVEL 3 January 23 | Perkinson Center for the Arts LEVEL 4 March 6 | The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen FINAL BOSS May 8 | Dominion Energy Center Every level is shaped by the community hosting it, with workshops and performances chosen alongside local partners, hosts, and artists to create experiences that reflect each space and its young artists. And the best part? Every level is completely free. No cheat codes required. Pre-registration is encouraged to help us plan, but families are always welcome to press start and show up.
