Richmond Performing Arts Alliance is currently seeking Teaching Artists for its Greater Richmond Wolf Trap program. Teaching Artists experienced in theatre, music, puppetry, and dance/movement from both western and nonwestern perspectives are needed for school-based and RPAA-based residencies and programs. Each academic year, Greater Richmond Wolf Trap’s passionate Teaching Artists partner with early childhood educators to integrate the performing arts into content areas like language arts, math, and science. Working in classroom environments, childcare centers, libraries, and other community settings, Greater Richmond Wolf Trap Teaching Artists provide educators with job-embedded professional development while helping to promote learning and stimulating the imaginations of young children (birth to age 8). Sessions focus on enhancing early learning and development through music, movement, and drama. |
