“New Voices for the Theater, SPARC’s nationally acclaimed statewide playwriting competition for Virginia students in grades 9-12, celebrates and cultivates young writing talent from across Virginia.
On July 27, the 34th Annual Festival of New Works will feature four original one-act plays written by youth as part of the New Voices program.
The plays will be directed by professional theatre directors and feature a mix of student and professional actors.
