The Cultural Arts Center Presents New 2023-2024 Season of Performances and Exhibits! 

The Cultural Arts Center is pleased to announce the reveal of its new 2023-2024 season which brings an exciting lineup of exhibits and performances, with tickets starting at $20 for select shows!

The Center Season performance series features exceptional performances in theater, music, and dance! From fan favorites to exciting new performers, there’s truly something for everyone! Highlights include: Yesterday and Today – The Interactive Beatles Experience, The Capitol Fools (featuring former members of the Capitol Steps), Richmond’s Finest – pairing the music of Patsy Cline and the Richmond Symphony, Livingston Taylor, a special salute to Burt Bacharach, and the immersive world of Artrageous! Center Season is generously sponsored by Hamilton Beach, Towne Bank, Dominion Energy, Markel, Richmond Family Magazine, WCVE and The Virginia Commission for the Arts. 

The 2nd Stage concert season, the best value in live music, is back with tickets at $20 for all shows and two options:

CENTER FIELD OUTDOOR SHOWS: Bring your lawn chair or blanket and join us for these outstanding live performances on our NEW outdoor stage! Seating is general admission. Wine/beer/snacks/dessert available for sale at the show.

INDOOR CARDINAL BALLROOM SHOWS: Enjoy cabaret-style seating and relax in an informal setting with performances by amazing local and regional talent! Plus, make the evening complete with wine/beer and snacks for sale at the show.
2nd Stage highlights include: The Whiskey Rebellion, Good Shot Judy, The Taters, Bobby Blackhat Band, Desiree Roots, and more! Sponsored by Hamilton Beach, Towne Bank, Dominion Energy, Markel, Richmond Family Magazine, WCVE and The Virginia Commission for the Arts. 
New art exhibits throughout The Center’s four onsite galleries will include works from The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, glass art by the Virginia Glass Guild, and abstract art by Tonyelle Bryant. 

Special events throughout the season are often free and include an Artisan crafted Festival of Trees on display December 2, 2023 – January 7, 2024. Plus, on October 7, 2023, enjoy the Coming Back Home Benefit Performance (Tickets $40) celebrating the Arts and featuring the music of John Denver! This special event will include scripted segments with narration leading into well-crafted arrangements of John Denver compositions. The songs will be interpreted by veteran Richmond musicians with a backdrop of changing graphic images to reinforce the message. Benefits Opening Minds Through Art (OMA). Performers at this event will include: Chris Fuller, George Turman, Frank Coleman, Jackie Frost, Susan Greenbaum, Danny Hughes, Brad Tucker, Kim Ryan and more! 

The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen is dedicated to being the region’s center for creativity, balancing arts and cultural, education and entertainment for our community. The Center is a private, non-profit organization, managed and maintained by The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen Foundation and Board of Directors.
