ABOUT THE SHOW
Summer: The Donna Summer Musical celebrates the life, music, and legacy of Donna Summer, the “Queen of Disco,” featuring her greatest hits and the story of her rise to fame.
AUDITIONS OPEN TO
Adults and teens ages 16+
This is a volunteer/community production and performers will not be compensated.

DANCE CALL (Required for all)
10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Please wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear and be prepared to move.
VOCAL AUDITIONS
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
(5-minute scheduled slots)
Prepare:
• 16–32 bars in the style of the show
• Songs inspired by disco artists are highly encouraged
An accompanist will be provided. Please bring clearly marked sheet music in the correct key.
Backing tracks are also welcome.

SELF-TAPE SUBMISSIONS
Available for those unable to attend in person.

DANCE ENSEMBLE SELF-TAPES
Performers interested only in auditioning for the Dance Ensemble may submit a dance self-tape in place of attending in-person auditions. Please email us with your interest.

Choreography for the self-tape audition will be released June 3, and submissions must be received by 8:00 AM on June 6.
While this option is available, attending auditions in person is preferred and encouraged.

June 11 – Music Rehearsal
June 15 – Regular rehearsals begin
Rehearsals will generally take place Monday–Thursday evenings from 6:00/6:30 PM – 9:00/9:30 PM.
No rehearsals:
• June 19
• July 3–6
CONFLICTS
Please list any conflicts between June 10 – August 16, including Monday–Thursday evening rehearsals, Tech Week (August 10–13), and performances August 14–16.
We’re looking for performers ready to bring energy, storytelling, and joy to this exciting production. Come ready to have fun, take risks, and bring your personality into the room.
